Nagar kirtan celebrations are held annually in various parts of B.C. including

 some of the smaller towns.

 

The "bigger" events are the ones that take place in Surrey and Abbotsford.

 

The links on the right are to some of the events that have taken place in recent years

at the Surrey and Abbotsford events.

 

The one in Surrey is held in commemoration of Vasakhi and is organised by

Gurdwara Sahib Dashmesh Darbar.  It typically takes place during the Easter

 long weekend in April. Another  event, organised by the Khalsa Divan

 Society is held in Vancouver during the same period.

 

The one is Abbotsford is held in commemoration of the Parkash Divas of

 Sri Guru Granth  Sahib Ji.  This is organized by the Gurdwara Kalgidhar

 Sahib and takes place early September during the Labour Day long weekend.
